It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Emilia Jasmine Stewart, aged 7 years, who tragically passed away on August 13, 2024, following an accident. Emilia is survived by parents Paul and Rebecca and sister Charlotte and a large extended family who loved her dearly. Though her time with us was brief Emilia brought immense joy and love into the lives of all who knew her. A funeral service for Emilia will be held on Saturday August 24, at 10.30am in the Calvin Community Church, 25 Robertson Street, Gore. Please wear bright colours.
The family kindly request in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Emilia’s memory to Otago Southland Rescue Helicopter Trust. Emilia loved painting stones so these would also make a fitting tribute. We give thanks to the wonderful staff at Dunedin hospital who took great care of Emilia, especially the staff in the Southern Critical Care Unit.
